Jose Acanda is a highly accomplished Martial Arts with lots of certifications and achievements in his career span. He has changed the life of many people including teenagers, kids and adults by teaching them Tae Kwon do. Till now, he holds the experience of teaching more than 100 students from age 5 to 55. He says that anyone can learn the techniques and skills, but the idea is that you have to polish it, perfect it with practice. His birthplace is Cuba, but later on, he moved to America in 2002.
Jose Acanda, before being a martial arts instructor has also been a personal trainer from 2005 to 2007 at Lifetime Fitness in Centreville VA where he organized weekly sales reports for the sales department to track product success. From 2007 to 2009, he has been a physical education instructor for middle school students in Mantua, Cuba. He has also managed loaner car department from customer service to documentation at Ourisman Toyota at Chantilly, VA.
He also has great entrepreneurship skills. He also recommends a business book “Rework” to those who wants to start their own business. This book is written by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson. When Jose Luis Acanda is not busy in teaching martial arts, he likes to spend some quality time with his family. He also likes to play paintball, bike, running and dancing. He also did many charitable things. He and his ex wife raised 20k for the children in India.
